Assalamualaikum sisters! Alhamdulillah we're in the month of Ramadhan. How's your ramadhan going so far? This ramadhan, I'm engaging myself with his remembrance by watching ramadhan series as many as I can from different scholars, reading my islamic and spiritual books, reciting quran and reflecting upon it, making lots of dua and seeking His forgiveness.

Ramadhan is a month of barakah, a month blessings, a month of forgiveness, a month for the sinners, a month for the broken ones, a month of quran, a month of charity and a month of mercy.

Talking about charity, we are encouraged to give more during this month as the Prophet Muhammad saw was the most generous during ramadhan, subhanallah.

Ramadhan is also a month where quran was revealed by Allah to His beloved prophet, Rasulullah saw. Therefore, we must engage ourself with the recitation of quran in this holy month. The sahaba used to close their shops and focus on reciting the quran in the month of shaaban. We must read as much as we can and reflect upon every ayah. Then, one should learn to implement the quran in their daily routine. By doing so, Allah will increase our rank in the hereafter. Also, the quran will be the intercessor for the readers on the day of judgement.

May Allah make us the people of Quran, aameen.

Ramadhan is well known as a month of forgiveness. Suhoor is the best time for us to seek His forgiveness. Use your suhoor time to recite astagfirullah and reflect your past sins. Ask Allah sincerely to accept your taubah. As that time is not a time for us to watch tv or k-drama but it is the time of seeking repentance from the One who loves to forgive.

Ramadhan is also a month for the sinners to transform themselves into a better version. It's a month where the one who finds difficulty in salah, practicing the prayers on time. A month for the one who awaits Allah's mercy. A month of healing for the broken hearts. We all are struggling in our deen and I hope Allah will be the best of helper for us during this month. May we all gain istiqamah in performing our ibadah, aameen.

Lastly, may Allah be the shine for our seeds of faith and may He makes us the best servant. I pray that you have a blessed ramadhan insyaallah. Barakallah fi umrik!

•Don't forget to recite this dua frequently :

Allahumma innaka 'afuwun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'anni.

with love,

rabiah rahman
